Can't wait for christmas, it's gonna be a frantic week or 2 leading up to it, office is closing! Yayzers!
And lonely cold blustery nights i just realised i skipped lunch and dinner today- am starting to value sleep over food.
Night lights add a bit of cheeriness into my otherwise dark room. I'm just missing snuggle bunny time too much, strange how a week can feel this long and tiring.
The little girl that keeps me loving kids and always makes my day.
It's always about the atmosphere and company-lunch was at a gorgeous restaurant which got me duly excited, a pity my appetite eluded me.
Waiting for my boy to finish his post show preps amidst the sloshing of water, quite amusing i must say. Glad that he was part of this, a pool in tiny substation is no mean feat.
Bagel chips- the healthier alternative to potato or corn chips, plus sundried tomato dip on a lazy saturday night and chick flick= bliss.
sunny breezy saturdays are best spent having your toes tickled by foamy waves in the companionship of a loved one.
Here's to 7 months and more of fattening each other up with post-dinner dinners. How to not love that face? :p chips and double dips!
A day that ended on a good note, and it's about time. Job satisfaction, check.
Possibly my last ACE Festival stint, been having much fun with Tall Stories and my crew, feeling a bit mixed abt it ending. :(
Doesn't share food! In this case it's butterscotch ice cream. So good, it's orgasmic.
I very much enjoy going to work, though there are job hazards. This sight that greets me every morning never fails to amuse me, and i absolutely love the sights and sounds but not quite the smell of the area. I hope i don't speak too soon, but i like it here.
My sweet friend who's been a great source of support, and when i look at her i know God is faithful to bless those who are obedient, even when the going gets rough.
Got to ride on the circle line, pretty useful i must say, though i still think placing 4 new stations between bugis n city hall is ridiculous. Stadium station=awesome.
I am nothing but a zombie i am nothing but a zombie i am nothing but a zombie.
What an incredibly gray rainy day, such a contrast from earlier in the afternoon. It feels like winter in the bus, i kinda like it.
Good things come in fun-size, like my boy, and chili padi. I always believe in starting out small, and working your way up. What i saw today really spoke to me-do something you like in a culture you believe in and you'll be infinitely happier. I do want to work there.
Nothing like good old chwee kueh to hit the savory spot. Not too heavy a teatime snack, but it has sufficient kick to make up for no-lunch days.
Spotted this last week at my interview venue and it brought back good memories of TNS. English lessons were always my favourite. :D i couldn't capture the entire cover though, it was huge.
Have been having a slight bunny obsession of late. Dust bunny, snuggle bunny, chubby bunny and now it's caramel bunny. Unfortch they're 100 calories a piece, fatty bunny.
Always awed by God's creations and how man-made works pale in comparison.
That's my boy's VDay present- a very pink carriage cushion for his car. According to him, I'm not doing much in saving what little masculinity he has left. Hee. Well the plan backfired because now i'm the one hugging the cushion in the car looking totally bimbotic n pink. But it's quite soft n huggable. Oh he's sending his parents to dinner tonight, wonder what they'll say if they see it. :x
As impractical and useless as flowers might seem, i am quite the typical girl n i do like receiving flowers when i least expect them. :) especially when i get my favourite ones. They don't last very long though, quite a pity. I'd love to grow my own tulips some day.
Sad n downtrodden, but still bringing glory to its creator thru its colours.
The new do for the new year, and hopefully the new job. Good haircuts always make me feel better.
When there're no more warm and fuzzy nights, you settle for the next best alternative- a warm comforting drink. The Milo sucked by the way.
T'was nice and breezy on christmas evening. My dad's friends brought us to this quaint little place hidden at the corner of seletar camp. It was good company n good food, a very unexpectedly pleasant evening i must say.
